Looks like white hair on a low exit to me, arrow looks really good when you realize it is only inside the deer for a millisecond at best.
Well, this was about the biggest bust of a rutcation I have ever had. Will be the first time since I started hunting again in 2007 without a deer down and first time since 2011 without antlers on the ground. Made it out one time in 10 days and even then I got wind driven frozen out, was not prepared for that. Now I start cringing every day when I open the mail box waiting for a notice of my sewer line needing replaced... hopefully it never comes, I'll sacrifice a deer season for that. Still a long ways to go and I'm sure I can still get something on the ground. Have a few guys at work that would probably let me hunt for a doe at least. I really screwed up that special lake area hunt. Hindsight for next year most certainly.
It was a low exit. He mule kicked when I hit him, then he walked away very slowly, had stuff hanging out of his midsection. I put the arrow near the white hair to show it was not a great hit. There was no white hair on the arrow
Damn, definitely going to be a dead deer. What's the game plan? Thinking single lung, liver then guts? Good luck, he might be dead sooner than later Guessing he was a good one, or you got super bored
No luck on the track. That buck was moving. No beds. Found nothing but white hair. Looks like a low hit. Tracker said he's 99 percent it wasn't a fatal wound.
Just seen you edited. That explains it a little bit. I thought I was looking at the arrow sticking in the ground at POI. Would have suggested a pretty steep angle in that case. You definitely got liver at minimum or hit a major artery if not lung. That's pretty good blood if it was a pass through
