I got the heated vest and the electric hand warmers cooking today. Snug as a bug in a rug! Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
Back in the stand from Monday. No big bucks today, but lots of action. I've seen over 30 does and 5 small bucks. Shawn - sounds like an awesome day. I hope you get your buck!
Jim, what brand of handwarmers do you have? I have been debating getting a set. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Well my week might be shot. 5 hillbilly friends of the landowner decided it would be a good time to camp in the middle of the property. 20 degree weather in the middle of the rut. I gave them a polite earful, and they’re packing it up. But who knows if a deer is coming anywhere near this place. This is awesome!
Congrats to all the killers and what a buck, Brandon! Yall had me laughing trying to get caught up here between the bow holder and the pin cushion references. Good to see some deer hitting the dirt finally. Keep it up. I'll be back at it Wednesday.

Never found the buck. Looked for 5 hours. Lost blood after 250-300 yards. Never seen a bed or anything. Typical high shoulder blood cuz it turned in to just drops every few steps. Asked the neighbor if I could look on his property cuz that’s where the buck went. He said yes I walked it grid searching a long time. Idk I feel horrible wounding a buck. I’ve only shot two bucks with a bow in 4 years of Bowhunting never found either one and hit them both high shoulder. Killed 14 or 15 does with a bow but I always do something stupid when a mature buck is in front of me. Idk I’m just rambling. Thanks for the support im gonna go home and regroup
Got the doe taken care of and I'm back at the house. Now just waiting to meet the tracker. Those deer drags just get tougher and tougher every year. Was just a nice sized doe, not too big, not too small, but dragging her out I got cramps in both of my inner thighs and you talk about painful, but I made it. Still have the fire, desire, and drive. Deer hunting, the rush of killing a deer, buck or doe is worth any physical pain it may cause me. As long as I have breath, I want to be in the deer woods doing what I love and I'm sure most of you, young or old, feel the same way. I'm already going crazy waiting to go in with the tracker after that buck. This is the first I've ever used a dog/tracker. Hoping for the best!!!!!
Surrounded by bedding doe all morning. Nearly got a shot off on one of them. They won this round. Good luck guys not sure If I go out this afternoon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Blood trail was reasonable. Bubbles in some of the blood. I think I'm looking at a 1 lung hit. Decided to stop tracking and called tracker. Meeting tracker at 4. This will be the first time I've ever used a tracker. Should be interesting. Hoping for the best!!!!!
