I moved to a different stand for the evening, right along the swamp. We will see, the wind likes to do funny things down here. Was in the stand for 5 min and 2 does come barreling by, nothing chasing so one of the neighbors must have bumped them. Good luck everyone
I wasn’t in my stand 5 minutes when a spike came by. He sure is goofy. His right antler curls down under his eye to his jaw. Good luck this afternoon. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I’m back up in a tree, but this time I’m in my valley. If I had any doubts that they’re traveling here I don’t now. Tracks in the snow everywhere. Just glanced up and a doe and two fawns were walking by. The does mouth was open like she was winded.
Doe at 3:15 no buck with her, couldn't get a shot. But, I'm ready! Last 2 hours of the day. C'mon big boys, c'mon deer, I want to kill!!!!!
Very quiet here on the farm yet again. Think the Bucks are mostly locked down. Other then that Buck on a mission this AM, there are no signs of chasing.
Back up for the evening. Missed an opportunity this morning around 930 on a nice big 8. The dominant rack in our area is definitely clean 8. He spooked as I was standing. Stand made a slight noise and he bounded out of range, but then just walked back to where he came from.
