I'm down and out for a while. I saw a decent 10 but he offered no shot. He was following by a doe and a smaller buck that hung around for about 20 minutes and then left. Not as much movement as I had hoped

Congrats killers! I couldn’t get it done on a doe. I did have some great bucks come by on the doe quest and was cool to see some more big ones. We’re heading back to Pa shortly.

Congrats to the other killers as well @MIHOYT89 and @cole62895. And if i missed anyone else. My morning was beautiful the geese were followed by some does who milled around me all morning. At about 9:30 they erupted about 80 yds in front of me. They were being chased but never did see the buck. couple minutes later 2 of them worked their way past me. Little after that a pathetic looking doe was doing the walk of shame across the clearing. Big bodied buck behind her but i couldnt make out his head gear. I dont think it was the Giant from yesterday that my buddy choked on. Anyway at home, more egg sammies and couple reese’s cups. Hot cup of coffee then back out. Guy i hunt with has some kids that want to hunt so we may be on babysitter hunting duty which may limit my plans which is fine by me. Couple pics from the morning hunt

Up for the afternoon/evening. Wanted to hunt this morning but my stomach had other plans. Had some freezing rain off and on all morning and is supposed to stop until 6. Then 2-5 inches of snow between tonight and tomorrow. Hope it gets them moving. Still sleeting some. Last bow sit for at least couple weeks. Gun season starts on Tuesday and will be taking 3 of my kids out. 2 of them have never shot a deer. Good luck to all who are out

5 point came strolling by. Not legal for the tag I have. If he does the same thing when I’m out with my kids next week he might be in trouble, lol. Didn’t seem like he was seeking or anything. Had his nose to the ground some was also eating while walking.

Both the little bucks that came through earlier were smelling the air and they went straight to my scent wicks. Now all I need is for a big boy to do that.

If I don't score today, I will be out with the boom stick and a sidearm for the bow range shots

Since I already have a buck and doe in the freezer, I find myself daydreaming of my gun opener one week from today as I will be able to shoot another buck :biggun:
