I’m getting my gear ready and I’ll be hitting the road tomorrow to travel to mid-west Missouri to hunt the opener on Thursday. I’m pretty stoked about this trip. Josh sent me this pic from the stand I’ll be starting out on, so I won’t be shooting a doe right away.
I went out and shot at the club today, took my 18-1 and shot BH’s to 50 yds. I’m just waiting for the green light ! They built a new elevated platform, it’s not done 100% yet buts it’s really nice to shoot off.
Up for the evening. Land owner tells me this there is two nice bucks out in this field pretty much every evening. Moved a camera around yesterday and she said they were back out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

DNR finally got back to me with answers. Only deer can be taken, kinda figured that one beforehand. I can use a bicycle from parking to other side of the creek utilizing the highway shoulder. I cannot use any type of watercraft to access or cross the creek. That one really sucks. I can access and park from an adjoining private land with permission, another guy is going to try to gain permission. I can drag a deer to the nearest roadway to pick up amd tale back for the picture at the site sign. So some good, some bad. Now to figure out access points via private land....
They would need to define watercraft. I can think of some very creative ways to get across the creek. Rope with big tube, etc...
