Finally, been in a NJ tree since 1500. Sitting about 25yds off a corn field edge. I'll be Buck hunting all weekend.
Holy Moly! You doctors are animals. Hope your little one makes some progress. They will tug at your heartstrings. Get some rest after all this and congrats again!
Up for the afternoon. @LittleChief and I went and set up my stuff in a tree for the morning. So I am up in his spare climber for the evening. Yesterday, we looking for my doe, we found the bench off the ridge top where bucks stage about 130 yards down the side of the ridge from the pond that I killed the doe at. Hoping something comes up the draw before dark. I am about 25 feet up a pine and will have a steep shot if something does come through.
Hey man, when it's your own, it's hard not to panic, even when we know what to do. Glad she got better. Tis the season for RSV. One of the things I don't miss! Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
Between the temp drop and the last-minute jokers putting up stands for the gun season, I would say confidence should be very high Mr. Shadow! FYI, I've killed 4 of my best bucks on the day before our gun season. (Coincidence? I think NOT)
Well I'm up in Ohio and the weirdness has already began. If y'all remember, a few years ago I was in this same tree when a horse runs by, still don't know where that came from. Well today im hanging my stand when I see a small buck running right to me. I'm thinking I must've spooked him with all the comotion I was making. I looked and saw more movement and a huge black dog is chasing the buck. The buck saw me and changed directions. The dog is coming closer and I let out a big yell. He turned tail and got the heck outta dodge. I guess he wasn't so brave after all. Anyway, I'm here, let's keeel somthin! Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
I do kind of the same thing, but on opening day of duck season. With majority of the hunters in the marsh, it gets those big bucks moving out. Killed a couple that way. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
