We're only running the one cam up here but we had night time pics on the main plot EVERY night from Oct 14-Nov 8 (night we got here) but since the wolf appeared that same night...poof, ghost town. Haven't even bumped a deer/seen eyes in the AM. 3 sits and only a spike seen so far. Bizarro world. Usually we got chasing all over the place from Nov 1-9.
See a ladder stand on the private 70 yds away...didn't see that this summer. Prob why that buck cut the corner so tight last night...avoiding that stand.
2 fat doe and a fawn snuck into range from where that buck was. I now think the turn was him on a doe. Unfortunately they went under apples on gully and popped out the other side going away. In range but legs only
I knew you had him, although I thought he'd be dead, but that's just better for you. Most of the meat should still be good. Was first shot liver? Just how you explained he walked away, sounded like a liver hit to me. Can't wait for the full story, shot placement(s), track, and of course the pictures!!!!! Congrats!!!!! Awesome job on the recovery!!!!!
That wolf should really implement better scent control. His access is all jacked up. He looks like he has the wind at his back. What a rookie. Ive got some hunting buddies like that.
Nice! That's awesome! Can't wait to see pics. What was hit on first shot? Liver? Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
We are so blessed to be doing this, folks… would you rather be at work? We wait all year for this! Soak it in!!! Let’s goooooooo!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I’m about to abort, go home, eat the leftover pepperoni pizza on my stove, and take a nap. This place is an absolute ghost town
Last night was the first time this year that I heard the "crunch crunch crunch" sound coming right to me. Almost 2 months of hard hunting just to hear that one time and have a chance....ain't easy. Go get some food. Caffeine. Put your feet up then go to a brand new place downwind of thick cover. Refresh your mind.
I know you're in a rush to get this done and get to work but please make sure you get your 2 pictures with your equipment.
