    As I sit 18’ up in a tree and it’s almost 60 degrees out already with high wind gusts, I muse…

    So the best thing about having your buck down and a doe with the crappy weather we’ve been having is it takes the pressure off and I can just enjoy the warm sit. Hunting till 11 then heading in to get my buck from the processor.. no t gonna sit tonight in the 70+ weather … no pressure.. enjoying my vacation

    That worked perfect...except, she ran him und er me twice, in the dark tall 8 pt. She sounded like her lung were going to explode. Let's hope they come back. Everything is ranged and I'm ready.

    Wouldn't be river bottom hunting if I didn't have boats running by with large outboards and Karen the Cranes making awful noises. Really bright moon out here.

    I have been up for about 20 minutes, same spot as yesterday morning. About 15 minutes to shooting light. Buck or bust time.
