Sounds like a total entitled idiot! That's the rule on any range. No one shoots until everybody is out of the way. I would report him.

2022---the season to mess around and try new tactics. Win or lose, gonna give it hell.

DNR hasn't replied to my inquiries about the special hunt area. Guessing they deemed them irrelevant and one should already know the answers.

Eff 'em, I'll do what I feel is right at the time even if I have to improvise to make it happen. Lost my battery cover to tactacam so need to see if I can find a replacement, want to video as much as I can for documenting any kills I get.

Think I'll take the sled and just quarter anything I kill and pull it out like that. Never been a backpack person in any regard, can't even imagine the hassle of improvising for a first time

You're going to win, effort gets results and you definitely put in the effort. New state, no previously known areas to make you question yourself. You have a knack for putting yourself on a mature buck scouting your way in, add 30 inches onto those bucks and you might find yourself pondering a taxidermist for a change

I think you're going to arrow a slammer once or twice over the next few seasons, you undoubtedly put in the work to do so.

Kids came to pic up grandpup from me tonight. They really needed a vacation, I was starting to worry about them both. So no going out. Then tomorrow rain is due all day. And Saturday I have a family memorial to go to. So much for my early doe hunting. Wednesday, Thurs. and Friday are looking good though. We had rain this morning and thunder this midday. Oh well all this gave me time to get the house, some what,in order. Going to set alarm and see just how much rain there is and wind direction to go sit one of the blinds. If no thunder rain ,as long as it's not pouring, may help keep flies/bee's down during cleaning and skinny /quartering.

Going to be 86 today and only 80 on Thursday. I'm shooting for Thursday instead of hunting today. On a plus side my jetboil stash came in that will be helpfull on those long sits during the rut. Thing is light as heck. 20220913_071046.jpeg

Yessir. Came out here yesterday to change batteries just a big buck bedded just inside the corn in front of me. Like 25 yds from my dead reveal lol.
