Been in for almost an hour now feels like 3hrs think I'm getting burned out. Maybe it won't be terrible for me to go back to work for a couple days. Have a new stand coming Thursday hope to have up Friday.

What kind of toothless, inbred, redneck, Ozark hillbilly starts running a chainsaw and shooting at 6:45 in the morning? Its good thing they are on the other side of the ridge from me. Maybe all their racket
    Will push deer this way.

We'll be an hour or so apart. You on private land, outfitter, public? Good luck to you! I'll be on the family farm.

An 8 point just came from the East, 100 yards north of me. He cut the road and headed north. Gave him a few grunts, he ignored it.

It's a private farm that belongs to a nurse that I used to work with at the hospital. Her husband, the farmer, had worked at a GM plant in Mansfield that closed several years back. He got transfered to a GM plant where I live and they moved here for a few years. He then thought that he was going to get transferd back to a plant in Ohio so she moved back to the farm. When it was all said and done, his transfer fell through. So she's back there and he has an apartment close to where I live. He goes home on weekends. I'm sure it's a stressful situation for them. I'm the only one who hunts it and there are some giants there

I just had a silent migraine. I've had them on and off for the last 20yrs or so but that's the first one I ever had while I was in the stand. It's a bit unnerving.

I'm never fortunate enough to find situations like that.

That makes me laugh...15 or so yrs ago, maybe longer, I had a guy sitting 100 ft from the corner of me and two other neighbours in early bow. He brought a chainsaw to his stand and every 20 mins. or so he would start it for just a moment or two. He did this for hours. It was funny at first when I realized what was going on....then it got mighty annoying.
He apparently saw a big one come in while he was cutting wood at some point...thinking to do the same with bow hand...lol

I thought I heard a cat squawling about 15 minutes ago. I thought I was hearing things. Then this guy showed up.[IMG]

Thought you had lots of acres to hunt. Why not get in a stand somewhere? Your not going to mess up a stand right now.
