11/7/22 one of the best days of the yr to be in a tree. A swamp behind me and a corn field in front of me. Let's go

Good morning LFTS crew! Been keeping up with this forum daily so thought I'd join in! Like all the participation and positive participation! My son Logman and I are headed out mid morning to stay till dark. Getting some better movement yesterday. Daylight pic of a decent 8 at the stand I was at in the morning, but ofcourse I moved to our haybale blind for the afternoon. But did see one of our big boys at last light! Skirted the far end of the plot! Good luck out there today!

Just had another doe come by at 20 yards. There’s got to be a buck following one of these does.

Now I’m settled in. 13 degrees. Temp won’t be an excuse today. 30 minutes before shooting time.

Doe and a fawn just came by. 20 degrees cooler this morning sure has them moving. There’s got to be a buck cruising around too.

Got settled in stand right at legal time. Bumped something in crp on way in. Too dark to tell at that point but it sounded like a heavy hoofed single deer. Feels like a beautiful morning in the deer woods! Prepared to sit all day, not sure if I will. Will at least be here until this afternoon.

Good luck this morning. I believe Logman is a teammate of mine on team 1. Make sure you save the big one for him, lol

Just missed a decent 8 point. Went over his back. Had me all twisted up and just didn’t settle the pin good enough I guess. Came in from behind me and shot was behind me to might right. Had the harness strap in my way as well. Oh well. It’s early yet

Just got my chair folded out and I look up a spike is walking away from me. As soon as I sit down 4 pt comes to within 10 yds. Breeze swirled and me got nervous and walked off. Have to touch off the antlers soon.

Agree! He didn’t seem too spooked so hoping he comes back through again.
