    I’m not sure about this one. The shot was a little low. She ran back the way she came, stood there for a few seconds and walked away. I could see blood on her side from the entry wound.

    After a minute either she or another deer that was following her casually walked down the hill in thick cover.

    Im going to sit here for another hour, get down, sneak back to camp and give her some time.

    Yeah, it was a big single doe so
    I’m thinking the deer I saw walk downhill was a buck that was following her.

    Dang LC, save me some. I haven't even been in a stand yet! Good luck though on the recovery. Your starting to sound a lot like me in the past. When Ohio had a 6 deer limit in my county, I think I limited out like 10 straight years. The family ate real good!!!!!

    had 5 different bucks, a spike up to a mid 120's 9 pt come thru this AM .. .. they were moving .. never saw a doe either ... all dayer tomorrow for sure ....
