Not me but then again, I didn't go out. Pouring rain and windy. But the deer were moving! I had a least one buck on each of my 5 cameras. DOH!!
Some people are magnets i swear. My dad is a fish magnet. He literally has at least 20 pins from various states for the size of fish he catches. If there is a fish in the lake, he will find it. It is his passion that he lives and dies for. Me on the other hand, I am a fish deterrent, he has even said so himself, LOL

Calling all Scat experts….. found this up on the ridge yesterday where I hunt. I would say the pellets are about 1 inch in size. The Google machine tells me it is from an animal that no longer exist in CT.
How many times have I complained about deer coming STRAIGHT TO my tree? They don’t walk by at 20-25 yards for me.
I’m all set up. Like Greg said, I’ve never hunted this exact spot before. Now that I’m up a tree and have a chance to look at it I don’t know why. Gorgeous spot where open woods transition into thick cover.
I hear what must be an all out buck battle down in my valley. My stand there is 400 yards from where I am now so all I can hear is the antlers crashing. I know no one else is hunting down there. Greg is closer but he is probably still walking in. Don’t know if he heard it or not. He makes a lot of noise walking with those big Sasquatch feet of his.
Got down early to help a former student track a buck. We didn't recover him. Here's blood pics. He is shooting fixed blade, 56 lbs, broadside at 20 yards, practically level, and says hit him upper shoulder. He didn't mule kick, ran through brush 5 yards from being shot, arrow snapped off 5 inches. Blood was good at first and slowed to drips 250 yards into track, before we lost trail. I was skeptical when looking at first blood. I sat down a half hour ago and had 2 fawns go by within the first 10 minutes. Hoping a big un is chasing today! Awesome buck Tony!
Had a six pack of does working over the oak flat. They were fidgety. Sure enough a little Forky was on their trail. He got down wind, cut one from the herd and away they went. Still early. Plenty of time for her to attract juniors daddy or better yet, grand daddy.
No deer yet. 1 hour of daylight left. It’s the magic hour. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
