Thought it was going to happen at last light. Grunting for 5 minutes slowly coming. Gets into the patch they are always in right in front of me and takes a right instead of a left. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Anybody ever had an arrow pass through an animal and come out squeaky clean? What I saw and what I'm getting for impact evidence are totally different. There is no blood at the impact site or anywhere close by and the arrow is clean. However my mind is telling me that arrow hit the 10 ring. I'm at a loss. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
The first doe I shot this year I had same situation. I heard her crash but decided to check arrow and follow blood trail because I’m using new heads. Arrow didn’t have anything on it. I started following path she went and found blood starting 25 yards from impact. Blew through near shoulder double lung. Baffled me how that happened Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Nice work LC! I can't respond to everyone but. Swampy, get in there!. Whoever had the baby, super congrats Up until today, my area has 100% sucked for ANY deer movement. Today, starting about 10:30 till noonish, my tatacam blew up with bucks working a scrape.(none big). I went and sat about 3:45 and had 4 small bucks come by. No chasing does, just wondering. Fun first sit. For those that don't wanna hunt in the high winds, DO IT!! I love real strong 30+ winds. Just get into thick cover. Stay off field edges. It's time everyone. "The One Week" we've all been waiting for
My brisket skim earlier this year was almost clean. Had a hair on the nock and a sticky/wax feel to it but otherwise visually no sign. Edit, this was the arrow, had a clump of hair at POI. Any hair on the ground at POI? Should have that at minimum with a hit/graze regardless.
The mature bucks I had moving during daylight on cam. I’m pretty sure that last 10 is a tank I’ve only got a few pics of. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yup clean!!! At first I thought it had something to do with the new heads but shot 3 since with same heads and all were bloodbaths. I was about ready to switch back to mechanicals but now I’m a believer!! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I actually thought I was imagining everything I heard snd saw when I looked at the lack of anything on shaft or fletching. I got worried but followed path she took into woods and found blood and then deer about 75 yards dead where I heard the crashing. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
@Ridgerunner3 and I are not there yet, we are just on the guest list. Although, I think he gets there tomorrow unless his plans changed. Most likely, I will be there Monday morning. I may drive up Sunday evening depending on how the youth weekend goes for my sons.
