I’m heading in… the winds have finally switched with the cold front last night and in the 30’s. Now to pick the right stand. Good luck everyone
Got about another half hour before shooting light and it is 60 degrees going up to the 70s… good luck everyone and stay safe! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Like clockwork and every time I’ve been in an hour before legal… non stop grunting in this swamp. Come light nothing will show for 12 hours. 11/4 is the day we spill blood. Brought the warm jacket and bibs today for the first time. Finally feels like November. Good luck!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Breezy, but fairly warm. Nothing in the farm fields that I could spot put a little estrus and dominate buck on the breeze. Kill, kill, kill guys
I’m up, got in clean as far as I know. New stand today, we will see.. good luck everyone, shoot straight!
My nose and cheeks are going to hate me after today. 4 days in a stand and to top it off a brisk 10mph NW wind all day. Need one of those breathable fabrics to cover my face. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got in late wanted to be prepared for a long set so I packed some food but I forgot to bring my knife and grunt call. I did bring my antlers so I'll give them a little rattle later. Good luck out there.
I wasn’t planning on getting on stand this morning since we will start tracking at 8:30 but after Brett left I remembered all of my gear was in my tree and if anyone came in on the forest road they would be able to see it. So, here I am watching for a doe for the first hour of light. I’ll have to get down in about 45 minutes.
Ha ha, so I am not the only one. I fight this climber all the way up to about 20 feet, start pulling up my pack and bow only 1 problem, the bow is not attached to my pack!! So I got in a little climbing practice this morning. Now I am not sure I have the energy to draw if I get the chance? Lol Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
My apologies for calling you an Army brat in an earlier response to your offer for "Struggle Snuggles." Might I suggest sharing the snuggles with your fellow airman? Us civvies don't go for that sort of thing.
I was thinking you were closer to lesterville. Just looked on a map. Hope you guys have some good luck. Better post a good group pic b4 VS leaves
******* cockleburs. Covered trying to set up my decoy, then couldn't find the damn stake. Doe feeding 100 out now. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
