Nov 2. Let's try again. Last night I got down an hr early and left. River rats started shooting and a bunch of pellets zipped into the tree limbs not 15 feet from me at eye level. No thanks. That was a first for me.

    Nov 2. KILL.

Great job all around Shocker. I’m sorry I wasn’t faster with my answers yesterday evening and I hope I didn’t come off sounding like a hard-a**.

    Your buck has been entered.

    Congratulations again!

Bumped a nice one on my way to my climber. Can’t shoot a buck but I’m scouting for a doe to hunt with my 6 year old. Hopefully we can put one down this weekend. Scrapes along the edge and no wind. Someone is going to shoot a big one today. Good luck!

Go home Mother Nature, you’re drunk.

76 degrees with 35mph south winds on November 2nd.

About to head in. Left everything in the stand last night. Will be sitting in the dark for over an hour again.

    Good luck everyone.

Today marks the 4 year anniversary of my infamous Pin Cushion Buck.

    ... I'm not in a tree today.

Good luck to all you real hunters. Hope you all empty your quivers.

I moved to a different spot. None of that going on in here. But there are a lot of duck hunters at the boat launch.

I don't duck hunt so I don't know. These guys yesterday were talking so loud I could hear them well from 150 to 200 yds across the water. Does loud talking and duck hunting work well together? I'm wondering if they got out of their blind and slipped over into the marsh to shoot the ducks. I read the regs before I hunted out there and it is a limited duck hunting zone, meaning they are bound to only be in their blind so as to avoid what happened to me last night.

Got in my spot relatively quiet. Once the the neighbor on the bordering property goes to work and puts his dog inside I may try rattling. the dog is a barker. 50 degrees here and NW wind about 2 to 3 mph. With wind being that low will the thermals be more prevailing?

Well I'm up in the same tree I shot and didn't recover the buck from last week. I'm hoping for redemption. There was a huge fresh scrap about 20yds from my stand that was not there the other day. Maybe it's maker will come a calling. Good luck all!

All day sit isn’t happening today. Getting down around lunch to go check my non cell cameras.

Might move my south stand too. I don’t think I could handle sitting in this tree on the north with those winds. It’s not big and sways with 10mph winds. 25+ would be very iffy.
