Good luck this morning guys. My procedure is at 9:30 and I'm hoping I feel well enough to go out this evening.

So bumped one right under stand. Snorted up across the hill. Then I think the same one , big doe, just came back in after doing a huge circle. 150 or so yrds out stood right in my scent stream and caused another racket. Heard lots of movement in sanctuary. Not expecting much now. Pretty sun rise though. . That doe is feeding on briar behind another stand right now well in easy shooting range...she should be on cam just before me....lol
    Good luck guys.

Good luck. Also if he's hurting, good chance he might circle back and get in that creek again.

Halloween 2 years ago. Took me 2 hours to get from my Jeep to heartbreak ridge.

This is the definition of trust your scout and the tree you picked months ago. Dark and raining. Looked completely different. Thank goodness I took a picture of the tree. There were two bedded does within 20 yds of the tree.

Giving it until 9 then going to go carve a pumpkin to light for when the grandsons come trick or treating. They will be our only trick or treaters. No one drives the hills no would they travel down our long dark drive. The boys have 2 big bags of treats waiting for them mostly non candy.

Good luck shocker and AM shift!

I'm in a ground blind overlooking a food plot. Definitely smelled a buck in the corn walking in. Just need him to come grab a green snack instead of the yellow snack!

Update is waiting on tracker to call me back. I was confident i didnt bump that deer going back in to track but i may have on the way out. He kind of circled back the direction of my exit and thats where his bed was. The fog and mist was so dense i did stumble around for a minute getting out of those nasty thick creekbottoms. I made some noise when i tripped on a deadfall. Hope he didnt go too far. Will keep you all updated. Not making a move till tracker says so

Thanks Chief! I really am off to a rough start this season. Lets hope this plays out. Weve gotten alot of mist overnight and light drizzle so im not even chancing it. Rain isnt a problem for those dogs. It is for me. Lets hope Mans best friend does some good work.
