Well, you're in NYS...do they even prosecute crime anymore? Or is that only down in NYC?

I've said it before, but I pretty exclusively use a credit card at any place that has payment methods that are less secure (online, outdoors, etc).

Talk to your local branch, some have temp cards they can issue on the spot, others should have the cats to you within a few days-a week.

Thanks guys, it was a great morning. I almost stayed in bed, but decided to sit in a chair by the creek just to see if anything was moving.
Out of nowhere, he came over a hill in front of me, broadside.
As soon as I saw him, he saw me, and a 5 minute stare down began.
He finally calmed down and took a few more steps. I stopped him, and let it fly. I heard that wonderful “rib cage pop”, and found him about 80 yards away.
I shed some tears today. I lost my father a few months ago. He started taking me hunting 44 years ago, it was his passion.
God, I hope he was watching and yelling “ holy ****, you smoked ‘em”!

Looks like my rutcation is going to kick off with moderate rain. Hopefully get in at least a morning sit. Use the rain to scout and still hunt a bit.

Headed back out in a bit to a far corn of property from a stand I've taken many buck from and seen many dozen more. Let's see if at least that stand movement holds true. So far this year only one stand has shown any historical normal movements for the year. I won't hunt it right now due weekend warriors in area.
Wow warm temps are on the way
I honestly only use the card on Amazon and local stores and pay pal is used anywhere else. Though as I said Amazon was hacked and it's an Amazon card. The fraud was mostly NYC and the West coast. So I do not know who would prosecute or seeing they only tallied a bit over a grand over obvious several ppl. if a anyone will bother.

Ok now I’m strongly considering changing my time off to next week. I don’t know if I can handle 70 degrees this week.

I'm up for the evening. Sit in what I call my lollipop tree. I only hunt it 1 or 2 times a year. Can be good at the beginning of season, rut , or late season. Doesn't seem to matter. What it is a funnel between 2 properties.

Messed around with my setup all afternoon. I had purchased and XOP edge Platform, and XOP double step mini sticks. Holy lord....so many moving pieces. It required me to pack completely different than I do now. I usually stow all my cold weather gear on my Summit Open shot hand climber and wear a waist pack. With the additional 9,342 pieces of equipment required for sticks and a platform I had to switch to a pack. Well, the only pack I have that would do the job was one that it kind of long vertical wise. I didn't like it at all. I think I'm going to stick my tried and true method for this season and refine my setup during the offseason. I might need to be a true SaDdLe BoI and get an Eberlestock X2 pack to carry all the extra gear for sticks and a platform.

I hear you, but remember that once the gun season starts on Saturday it pretty much sucks after that….

Settled in winds good if they come on my off side which is actually the most kills I've taken from here. I walked past the Renzo deer decoy I'd ,oopps forgotten last year and set it out. If nothing else it would slow them down. . One nieghbor has an open green "lawn" and the other the bedding swamp. I have the laneway. And open wood lot.
Help guys . Field I hunted last night far opposite end past the clover and chestnuts. A scape had been opened. To night I entered from the road there right along the corn and there was another brand new scrape. Along the edge of woods around the corner and 60 yrds from the other. I have my wooden blind just 40 yrds from the first scrape I found. I have no clue direction or time but prints are big and so are the scrapes. I also have a ladders and farther in along a clean trail. But wind blows from that to scape in these sse patterns
What would you do? I saw zip last night from there...morning and if so how early?
