Got him. It was a 35-yard shot and I was a little concerned, but it turned out to be a perfect double lung pass through. He’s actually a little nicer than I thought he was. With limited time and meat running low there’s no way I was going to pass him, especially from the ground. What a riot!
No movement then got home to Call the bank! My card was hacked....after 40 min phone tag ...they tallied up an amount of over 1,000.00 in a week. Which is actually not bad considering. Though seriously ?, They payed their utility bill! How tractable is that! Also funny my being Keto someone in NY was buying some expensive pizza. Lots of lft tickets CA. And OR. A holes now I have no card for a while....Funny right after Amazon was hacked in beginning of Oct.
Congratulations, Fred! I’ve killed 2 deer while I was on the ground and not in a blind… definitely the coolest way to do it Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Three does and one small buck this morning. I got a question I’m hunting about 80 yds off of a standing corn field that is just now getting harvested I can see the combine. How does the deer react? The field is only 12 acres so they should be done before lunch I’m guessing? Oh yeah I am unexperienced hunting around ag land. Thanks
From what others on here have said.....This afternoon or evening will be your most productive hunt for sure
I’m out heading home probably won’t get back out this evening Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
The last doe I killed was full of soe beans. I believe the buck chased her across the road into corn field I was near. She had some corn in her but mostly sor beans. They are cutting the beans last night and today. Ive seen limited number of deer lately is this because they are eating the beans. Will come back to the corn now. Farmers said they will start to cut the corn fields the middle of next week. Rain forecasted here the next day or two. Or should I be over next to the beans. Still??? Any suggestions will be helpful. No Sunday hunting til the last Sunday if archery season I pa.
