Incredible northern lights this morning. Set this camera on a hot oak by the parking area we were at yesterday (I’m here sitting in tall grass waiting for sunup). These aren’t even the bucks we have seen. Still a bigger one out here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If you have any sassaffrass around try them.....the buck love them. I found aromatic trees get hit hardest...that's why I planted them several years ago and they produce colonies so there is always a supply growing.
Thanks Old. Don't have that here. I'm stacking firewood now and have got basswood trees picked out.bucks love rubbin g them. Plus, they are purdy orange colored when rubbed,(visual effect)
No deer this morning. Last hunt this afternoon! What a blast the last few days have been. Learned so much and saw so many awesome things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If that rain breaks for the last hour or two, you will be golden. Deer should be moving all over! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Out of sheer boredom I took a nap. Despite the fact that I never take naps, the sound of the rain pounding the travel trailer sang me right to sleep. I woke up and the sun was shining. I checked the weather channel and according to them the rain is pretty much over until Wednesday. I don't trust those liars, but I'm going to go on my first afternoon sit here in a while. I don't think there's much need in getting out there too early.
Then again, the temps have dropped and the rain has stopped. It might be a good time to get out there.
