    First time hunting this stand this year. Closer to where I saw the bucks Monday night. Also where the big buck from Thursday headed. 38 degrees, slight east breeze- perfect for this stand.

    Like a duck dragging weeds!

    Take an extra second to make your shot!

    Had a few deer around me this morning so far. One was in the creek 20 yards behind me but didn't stay for daylight.

    Just had a lone doe come in to 10 yards. Couldn't judge size and thought it was strange she was by her self. Hit my scent and turned around and slowly walked back the way she came. Almost pulled back on her, but I showed restraint. Haha

    The Missouri country boys came to play today. Every 4 wheel drive truck is out here. I'm counting on it. Heck with it...I went right into the bedding area. Not much cover except one small tree in front of me to break up my outline.

    3 days of east winds has definitely changed movement around here. Havent figured it out but the deer are definitely moving differently. My cell cams are backing this up. Weird but logical how that east wind resets them

    First sit of year for me. Been here since 20
    Mins before legal. Later than I wanted but I’m here. Very calm this morning. Saw a red fox so far. Let’s shed some blood today!!

    Just had what looked like a decent 8 at 20 yards but in the thick stuff. He went the other way instead of coming out my way. Grunted few times as he was walking away but he did not seem interested

    Just got busted by a buck. Through a bunch of leaves...don't know how he saw me. Seemed decent, but couldn't see well through branches. Dang it.
