Slow but productive morning in the duck blind. Sent from my SM-G990U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
We’re one day away from Halloween weekend. The bucks are moving, the temps have dropped and it’s game time. Its the time of year we look forward to for 11 months.
These river bottoms are different to me. 1 hr after sun up and my thermals are blasting straight up. I bet I could get away with some less than Ideal winds in here.
Just had a 9pt pushing a doe around, for a second there I thought I was going to get a shot… until the doe ran the other way
Buck came in chasing these 3 does all over the place. Chased em the wrong direction. Didn't care much about a rattle. Fun watching tho. Sent from my SM-G996U using Tapatalk
You probably can, I have in the river bottom I hunt. The key is picking the tree where the canopy is open enough to not stop the rising thermal, but, still enough cover to hide you. Those trees are like unicorns.
Dreaming of what will be cruising this swamp in the coming weeks. Praying they come by my stand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Good luck AM shift! Are there any nearby Hills the bucks would be cruising to catch those rising thermals? Just asking for my own knowledge/understanding
That’s it for me. Doe and 2 fawns early that’s it. Meeting in an hour, get some work done, then back to the corn this afternoon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It wasn’t on LFTS, but congratulations to @Lady Forge! She Put down a great buck for team 6 yesterday evening and recovered it this morning.
I’m back at work… have to climb down at 8 to get logged on in time for work. 7:50 I look behind me and here come two deer up the hill, watch them for a little at 40 yards then catch movement to my left, another 2 coming my way at about 15 yards… 7:59 and I got surrounded by fawns lol two of them worked off and I had to spook the other two to get to work in time. Oh well atleast I was seeing deer!
That lady is probably the most consistent buck killer on this forum. Since I've been on here, seems she always putting down a buck or 2 every year. And they are usually monsters! Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
nothing for me this morning and didnt see a single deer driving around checking other ag fields and neighboring properties...bizaare.
