I most certainly could. There aren’t many viable trees in that little section. It’s willows surrounded by 5-10ft buckthorn. The trail they are coming in on from the south it is way too thick to get a stand.

I’ll look at cam pictures and the map more in depth this weekend before deciding. Will be hunting it next week while I’m off work for sure.

That buck is in his bed looking at this guy and laughing.....BTW, the buck cant count, he thinks it is probably you, the threat he saw earlier, stay frosty Brett!

Back in saddle…heard fighting about 120 yards away across my thin pond on my piece, where the main plots are.

snort wheezed and grunted, but sounds like there must be a doe from some of the commotion that followed up in the bedding to my NE and N of where to be fighting was.

Here’s to hoping the winner is a shooter and pushed doe down this way or the loser is shooter also and comes my way licking wounds.

light ane variable winds suck! tjis is a dynamite stand for rare east winds and the winds are not strong enough to not swirl…when thermals die i may pull plug on hunt

Always take my hat off once I get to the swamp on my walk in because I always get real sweaty. Seems I missed my pocket or dropped it this morning. Thank god it’s not too cold.

You and I are on the same wavelength the last 2 days. Bobcats and now lost hats. I had mine but knocked it off when I stood up to shine my light. 20 ft below me now

I always have two hats with me….one is typically a thin wool beanie shoved into a deep pocket somewhere due to always dropping or losing the other…. Level up men lol

First sit in this spot. If it's half as good as it looks I'd be happy. Saw a doe go thru already.
