    All set up and waiting on light, in the same area I saw a fawn and 4pt yesterday morning. Only have time for a quick sit before work so I did t push further up the hill. I’m going with the old don’t leave deer to find deer strategy. If I don’t see anything this morning that will make the decision to go up the hill tomorrow easy… if I do see something today idk where I’ll be tomorrow! Good luck out there guys!!!

    The rut should be in full swing in 2 weeks. I'm just now starting to see 2 and 3 year olds showing up on cell cams in daylight.

    I decided to stay put if thermals follow the laws of physics i think i will be okay at my elevation. The wind was and still is more out of north than east like it calls for

    I circle all the way around for wind. Climb the bank...40 yds to tree an hr and 15min before light. There he is on that rub line. Never smells me but trotted off. Ughhh

    guy just walks right down the middle of the strip of woods
    .ughh. I walked all the way around not to do that. Got to 50 yds of me. At least he diverted when I flashed my light. Chances of seeing that buck are about nil now.
