    All set up and waiting on light, planned to hunt over a scrape at the top of this hill but it’s pretty windy here so opted to stay at the bottom where 5 old logging roads connect… got about half an hour till legal good luck out there guys

    Got in the tree about 20 minutes ago. Stopped at the base of my tree before climbing and just listened. Heard at least one running through the swamp. Get into the stand and get everything situated. Something watched me get set up 30 yards away, came 5yd below me and stomped around a bit and just now walked off. Probably a fawn.

    40 minutes till shooting light. Definitely jumped the gun a bit but I sure do love listening in the dark while it’s dead silent.
