    Update on my MI public hunt...

    Didnt see anything up to about 5. Had to take a leak as i wasnt making it to dark. In the middle of it, i look left and there is a doe 35 yards out. Get done and sit back down figuring im busted. She was still there. She couldnt figure out what she saw with all the cover i had.

    BUT, she started stamping and blowing! Took off for about 20 yards and came back. It was constant blowing as she worked into 12 yards.

    I would have penciled "Monica" but too many branches in the way!

    Next time, she wont be so lucky!

    Dressed, having a coffee then going to see if my window build in New blind is as a shootable as I planned. Serious plunge in temps and breezy. Rained again last night so wet as well.

    Actually saved my alarm and got up this time. First AM sit of the season this morning.

    About to start getting dressed and will head out soon. Always fun trying to plan out your first sit like this. Probably going to be in a tree an hour before I need to.
