Ordered a HSS line and will use my treestand harness for the time being.

Just got in the stand. Change of plans for tonight as the farmer is combining our corn (HELL YES). Settled for the swamp stand. Really not a good wind for it but we will see what happens.

Don’t you hate that. I have two feens about 50 yards away that get me every time. Almost want to walk over and cut them down.

Just had a small scrub buck go trotting by about 100 yards below me. Not sir why but the deer seem to be moving very quickly through here tonight

That’s good though it’s early and they are moving.

Shouldn’t be anyone on this property. Could possibly be someone across creek at bottom of hill

A great night to be out!

    Hoping one comes trotting by.

It's warm, but it's also late October!

    The time is now! 20221024_170824.jpg

Nothing moved on camera all day. It's a gorgeous day that I should be out doing other things - but sitting in my stand with my fingers crossed.

It's 75 degrees with 15mph winds and clouds. Rain is supposed to be here about 9pm and its gonna pour for a day and a half. I hope they sense something and get up on their feet early.

Must be slow for a lot of the hunting tonight.

I saw 1 sneak 100 yards away. That's it so far.

    The time is nigh!

Thinking someone shot something above us. A huge blk. and tan German Shepard ran through our woods nose to ground...I yelled at it as he passed the house but it never lifted it's head. A group of doe and fawn walked by up in cut corn feeding. So looks like the silage cut is now leaving stubble. I watched a video on the change as it is better for the soil to do so. Past years they went to dirt then cover in manure. I did pass a truck coming from this general direction so.......
I found one rub on the property the other day. I have not seen a buck in a long time , other than the nubbin fawns in last posted pics.

So stupid, every time I come back to correct the auto correct, what I originally typed is the first word in the word bar. The auto correct not only skips what I typed but, makes up phases to replace them...WTH?!

Ill be putting in for a vacay. Buck activity is picking up. Still no sign of the one i hit high.. The big tank body showed again after all the mowing commenced. Right after legal light go figure. Another nice 3y.o. Keeps showing. He will get a pass. Other bucks moving at night. Going to kick off here in T-Minus! Makes underdressing and 1 spike seem not so bad. Insane sunset in front of me with a giant rainbow behind me.

Having issues posting pics from Tapatalk tho. I’ll try again later.
