Well put Chief. I think when I lose that thrill and rush, it’s time to give it up. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Do you remember my post eons ago on HNI titled The Kill? It 100% agrees with your thoughts on it… it was quite the controversial thread! I had a lot of those back in the HNI days Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Guys I'm not against killing fawns. I've done it before when I was kid. I did it a few years ago on a wounded one that almost had its leg blown off. My response on yesterday's kill was based off the guys reaction after he killed it. He obviously felt he did something wrong and said so to me. I congratulate him and offered to help him get it out. He just ran away with it. And if your a meat hunter, much like me, you don't want the fawns anyway. That's next years food. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Well boys I'm all set up waiting on daylight. I've been getting new bucks on my cameras the last few days, so we'll see if this translates to seeing them in person. I got about 30 minutes to legal light. Good luck to anyone out. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk
I agree with everything, and have always said if I ever lose that adrenaline rush I'll know it's time to hang it up. What I actually meant is that we utilize what we kill rather than just kill for the thrill and move on to the next. There's trophy hunters out there that just hunt for the headgear and donate the rest, or sometimes just leave it to rot. They're a different type to me, if I didn't process my kill I wouldn't hunt, I can say that matter of factly.
Slow morning! Only squirrels so far. Sun is starting to shine, so maybe that will get them moving. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Two does so far. I think the wind swirled a little bit and they caught my scent. They didn't leave in a hurry but they left. Sent from my SM-N975U1 using Tapatalk

Good luck to those who are out!! I have a busy week of school work leading up to this upcoming Friday, then it is on!!
I do remember that Tony. Even back then a lot of people didn’t want to admit that they actually enjoyed the kill.
