The amount of bucks I’m getting on cameras tonight is insane. Really warm with storms tomorrow evening from a cold front and then 30+ MPH gusts Monday… then it’s on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah, every year I'm tempted to debone a couple of deer and take them back to that Mennonite processor in Ravenden Springs, Arkansas to have a bunch made. I've tried a lot of venison summer sausage, but that was hands down the best I've ever had.
If you do, let me know as I would love some and would be happy to pay for it You probably do still have it Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Will do, I slouch as well and looks like this seat will hold me up higher than the stock did. Guessing I could cut the zip ties and replace or even just add a few to take some slack out of the seat to raise seat height as well. I definitely need to get out an afternoon or two for practice more than a sit.
I can’t wait for the rut to really kick in and for you to start seeing some Midwest giants. With the time you put in, I have no doubt it’s gonna happen!
I agree with you FEB. Brett has been doing what it takes to put himself where he will have a good chance at a giant, and they have them where he is. We have a few around here, but he's almost four hours farther north. There are some big ones there and it's right at time for them to be searching for does. He's on the does. It's just a matter of time.
He's going to stick one that won't fit in the bucket, or he's going to need a garbage can to start storing
Getting ready to head out. I got a 10 minute drive and 20 minute walk. This will me my first time in thus spot this year, looking like a SE to straight east wind which would be perfect for this stand the more East it is. I’ve seen some big guys over there in past years but never able to connect. Good luck am crew.
Coffee down and headed out in 15 minutes. Good luck out there this morning. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Heading back… everything about today says poor or bad so just feel like I’m going out to sit and take in the sunrise and warm day … vacation starts one week from today Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
All setup. 30 minutes until shooting light. Let’s do this. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Shooting light is an hour away. I think I'll be able to see my cousin 300 yards away across the corn field. He's 50 and I learned yesterday, he's never shot a deer with a bow. Praying hs gets a chance today! Good luck killaz!
