I hear what sounds like Jason Vorhees walking toward the tree. The doe trots off and in comes a 3 pt grunting up a storm and chased her a bit. She walked off and I don't know where he is right now.

I'm down and back at the house. I felt kind of strange all of a sudden and was having trouble focusing my vision at distance. It didn't take long to realize that 30 feet up a tree in a climber wasn't a good place to be feeling like that. Yeah, in that spot the tree is open so I hunt at 30 feet.

It took all of 5 minutes to climb down and get back to the house. I left everything set up in the tree. That's really why I went over there in the first place. It's kind of stupid to sit there in the afternoons right now anyway. I don't want to shoot a doe at dark, and my cameras show them coming in regularly 40-45 minutes before dark. I'd end up pinned in my tree and have to spook them off, messing up the traffic pattern.

I'll get back out there in the morning. I can shoot a doe then without messing the spot up.

That doe worked towards me. She was within 30 yards but need to get on the other side of brush.

    Made for a fun evening.

Waiting a bit for her to work off.

Super excited for tomorrow and next week. The past 3 years I have had some great encounters with good bucks that have have bad outcomes the week before Halloween. Seems like they use the property I hunt hard that week. Watching the Phillies to pass the time but really just want to wake up and get in the tree.should have reception to try to post any action

Not really. Just a little bit of a dizzy feeling, but not bad.

Everything is back to normal now.

Got it installed tonight and sent them a few thoughts on it and some pics. Hopefully it's what they wanted, wasn't expecting to get one for free.

I doubt it. It wasn’t that windy. Besides, after a career in the Navy and riding out hurricanes on two different ships I can’t imagine a little tree sway bothering me.

I’ll be in a tree in MD tomorrow morning! Dad was down there this morning and only saw a button buck, but the deer travel through this property and hoping they are in there tomorrow morning or atleast come through!

I have almost pulled the trigger on one of those seats a few times but feel like I will be disappointed because of how well I love the original seat.
