I stand corrected, that field does get planted each year. Here's ths entire field, quite a few little pockets and corners on it. Interesting.

Bur oak at 18 yds. Walked in quietly and walked up on a guy not 30 yds from the road sitting down. Not sure if he is disabled. At least he is playing the wind correct.

Caught one tiny little whiting, so I didn't get skunked! I'm on Oak Island, NC. The beers were good tho.

I'm 200 yds away from a boat launch. If I can hear a guy talking saying mfer every other word for 10min, then dude quiet your volume a bit! Lol

I’m set up on my place across the road for the afternoon hunt. I haven’t set foot over here in weeks.

I’ve had tons of does and the occasional buck on camera. They have been hammering the acorns here. There are deer droppings everywhere.

I’m mostly here this afternoon so I can leave my gear and be all set up for the morning sit, but if a doe gives me a slam dunk shot I’ll take it.

I got in with about 2 hours of shooting light left. Some turkeys in the far end of the field.

I've been up for a little while now. Balmy 62, 13 mph winds from south.

I have two does north of me. 70-80 yards. Ozonics must be working.

I left my ozonics at home and every deer I have seen caught my scent at 70 yards. Small 8, doe and fawn. The doe blew

I’m heading back to one of my rut spots for tomorrow morning. I haven’t hunted it in two years. Gonna be in the low 30s tonight and moon phase is saying the AM prime movement will be from 830-11:00. Hopefully I’ll catch a spike or button buck heading back to bed , lol
