Just settled in tight to bedding area. Hunting off the ground. This should be fun. View from the bag chair.
Goodluck guys! I ended up seeing 3 unidentifieds, 2 trotted through right before first light then I caught I glimpse of another one about 70-80 yards away about 30 minutes after light
Oh yeah, I did kind of just drop off the radar didn’t I? Yes, I came back home after the Wednesday morning sit. I really would have liked to stay another couple of days but the first doe I killed had been on ice in a cooler for 5 days and the second for four days and I wanted to get them processed. That is completed and I’m already itching to get back in a tree. I can’t shoot anything but does here at home and it’s only 9 days until we head out for our annual Missouri camp so I don’t need to be traveling this next week. I may wash my gear, climb a tree here at home and try to put another doe down this evening.
Not until gun season opens on the 12th. I can hunt for another buck here then. That’s the bad part about killing a buck early. I guess it’s a good problem to have though.
I’m back at home bumped one almost at the truck nobody else in there hunting going to have to give that spot a few more try’s sometime Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Change comes from within, and only we can change ourselves. I'm breaking the habit tonight Gonna head out to a new piece to scout/hunt. Thanks @virginiashadow & @Holt for giving me the kick in the ass and sharing your knowledge.
To my knowledge it's all CRP there too, when I zoom in can see tire tracks, so maybe they plant some years as well. I'd be able to tell pretty quick, just drive past where it meets the road Areas I marked are just where I think they'll cruise. The elongated one has a pretty heavy trail about 25yds out from the treeline.
