Oh man… got home at 6:15 and while I was eating, the little one came in… he loves those briar leaves… then a nice size doe, not as big as the slob I shot on the 6th, but definitely a shooter… I grabbed the PSE and slipped into the porch… had her at 25 yards and let t down… just enjoyed knowing I could have…

Now if they walk by my stand in the morning…. I will shoot the big one

No clue what I'm doing on public land. Trying to come up with a plan for Nov 4th - 13th for my rutcation
Park at the blue dot blob.

Initial thought was to set up on the first elongated yellow treeline. All CRP and they love CRP here, bedding and cover all in one.

Second choice would be either of the 2 other yellow circles. But the area in red just screams at me to go there.

Probably looking at 500 acres of over 16,000 to choose from.

It's no Adam Sandler cocks and balls, but I hve somewhat of a plan.

I'm killing a public land buck this year, takes 5 on one side to be legal and I'm still going to make it happen.

Or between the elongated yellow and the circle yellow to the left. Bucks will cruise all day.

All set up waiting for daylight, not the best set up, I bumped 2 on the way in, one was bedded right where I wanted to set up, the other one blew and they all took off. Couldn’t find a great spot to set up so I’m only about 10ft off the ground, not really sure if I will have many spots to shoot once it gets light a we’ll see good luck out there guys

Was going to go out and use the climber this morning but I’m running to late already, going to a ladder stand near the house. Good luck.

Beautiful morning here. Getting ready for work so no hunting for me now. I plan to check out some spots around lunch and maybe check out a few cameras I have out nearby.

Cking in. Have been set up for a little while. Light enough to see now. Weather app said 38 / trk said 28. Frost was on the ground. Should be good. South winds. I see more deer on south winds here.

Though just unzipped my jacket would be enough to keep me cool on the way in. Nope got sweated up and on top of that I never sprayed these clothes down so I've been picking tics off me every couple minutes. Makes for a great hunt. Squirrels are keeping me on my toes.
