Them dry quiet super crunchy days are not so fun. They are only fun if you can sneak in then hear everything else making all the noise.

I've been surrounded by deer since I got in the stand. All does so far but it looks promising.

Goodluck out there this morning! I’m at the doctors for a physical and to make sure I’m all up to date on everything before baby girl arrives. I’ll be back out tomorrow morning for a quick before work sit!

Good luck morning crew. Looks like this was the last morning of the cold front as temps will rise into the 80s this weekend before dropping into the 60s late October. I'm playing Mr Mom this morning. Cooking breakfast and pregamming highschool quiz/test prep for my youngest.

Indeed, they are expensive. Quality always is. Plus when you wear through the soles, you can send em back and for $75 they'll re-sole them. If they're really destroyed, as in leather and all, send em back for a rebuild for $175.
While these will not be the last pair of boots I'll ever buy, for hiking boots I'll probably never look elsewhere.
I'm still wearing rubber boots for white-tailed, on stand, hunting.

Well it's been an awesome morning so far. I've seen probably 30 deer, all does, and 10 turkeys. The turkeys were coming up out of a swamp when a button buck came running out of the woods. He kept running back and forth at the turkeys but they didn't pay any attention to him. I guess he wanted to play but they didn't. Anyway it was pretty fun to watch.

I've passed at least 5 shots this morning at less than 20yds. Best of luck on the impending birth. Girl or boy?

Not sure of brand, generic I'm sure, but my work gave everyone a small yeti like thermos(20-24oz) a couple Christmas's ago. Used it for the first time last weekend on stand. I had to carry it as well. Has a small flip up handle on it that I hung on an accessory hook on the tree, but to carry it in I used my harness strap to clip on it then had it on my chest, could tuck it into jacket to keep from swinging as well. But it freed up my hand for the walk in/out. Poured the coffee at 4:50am and when I left at 7pm it was still pretty warm, not hot. Ut ddfinitely not cold. Was impressed with it actually, yeti mug I left in the truck was cold as it could be.
