Mission accomplished. Went to a pinch just outside of bedding where a giant scrape was last year. Tore up again. Forgot to take pictures cause I was being quick getting in/out. Also set up a camera just to the north of my rut stand in the swamp on video mode.

The one is a Tactacam but is at 20% battery. Hoping it will last the next few weeks. Will check the other later next week when the front passes and it’s time to get into the rut stand.

Have to move my cameras on this south end in the next few days as well. Noticed my other Tactacam has been dead for 6 days now… DOH.

Anyway enough rambling just got set up on the corn on this south end again. Sat here a lot recently but haven’t been busted. Who knows.

    Good luck PM shift!

I have 5 Tactacam Reveals and I have solar battery packs on all of them. They last 3 - 6 months depending on how many pictures their taking.

Hope you both like them as much as I do! Mine are a few years old and worn but so nice.

Down to the last hour. Nothing so far. Winds are strong and blowing all over. Not good. This spot just looks and feels like something has to die here.

Definitely going to take some getting used to. I've never worn an 8" boot before, work or otherwise. Feel pretty good, just glad I went with a 13, think 12 may have been too tight. Supposed to be in the mid to upper 70's this weekend. Might hit a few local ponds and start breaking them in.

Fork horn bumping around a doe and 2 fawns. Fawns are very little compared to others I’ve seen. Thought they were coyotes at first.

6pt got to 10yds directly upwind stopped dead in his tracks. Stood there 10 minutes and turned around. Maybe my wind is swirling in this corner. Didnt hit my trail or anything. Didn’t bust out which is good.

How old would you say those are and do you only wear them during deer season? Can't wait for mine to get the creases/folding in the side as they loosen up.

Was covered in deer the last 45 minutes. Mama and fawn under me for 15 minutes. Watched another nanny (who I thought was a mature buck at first) come across the hay field to 5 yards. Would not leave. She smelled something but didn’t know and just stood there. I was standing facing the tree/hay field and saw a real decent buck come out. Acting real goofy just ran to the middle of the field then to the east.

Could not look around/move for the longest time but deer walking 40 or so yards in the woods.

I’ll probably move my cams tomorrow and take Friday/Saturday/Sunday off. Minnesotas youth gun season and early antlerless gun season this weekend. Also supposed to be 70+ degrees.

They have 400 grams of thinsulate, guessing all season, they are described as waterproof, and not sure of the warmers you speak of.

I think I can get a thin pair of wicking socks, add a stick on toe warmer and cover with a normal thickness sock and be ok. I don't think I can do a wicking sock and wool sock. Won't know until I try though.

More will have to wait, I'm still trying to learn that as well. I bought based on reccomendation.
