    Heading out in a few, hunting bedding area this morning. Hopefully the young 8 does not come out my will power is weak and I’m looking for any reason to go into work late or not at all.

    It’s a perfect morning out, I can only sit until about 8:10 so I’ve got a little over and hour of light, at the gunclub I walked a few hundred yards in, up hill and saw a total of 6 deer, then I had one milling around me while I was setting up… definetly deer here now I just need one to walk by in about 30 minutes!!! Good luck out there guys

    Heading out for just my 3rd sit of the year… 34 degrees WNW wind 5-10. Pretty good conditions really for mid October here in Indiana.

    Going to sit the stand I sat opening morning that was covered up with deer. I’ve kept the pressure at a minimum so hopefully that serves me well.

    Up an hr before sun downwind of bedding. Had to get creative as parking is right by the soybean fields on private. So I parked 100 yds away at the duck hunters boat launch and made noise getting ready. Lol! Circled down and old road and made it in clean.

    Got in clean, wind is perfect just had 1 doe come out of the bedding. Never saw this before as the deer was walking it stepped on a branch came up whacked her in the face she jumped 2 feet off the ground. It was 29 when I left the house this morning legs are a little chilly.

    Walked right past bedded deer or they were on chestnuts. Got to traiI in woods 4 steps in deer I'd walked past snort snort snort! Decision made. First snow falling now. Talking to turkey behind me

    Missed my tree by 20yds. Didn't mean to get this close to bedding. Not sure how this is gonna play out as I can spit into the beds. Lol!
