Oh, and a bonus! While I was looking I happened upon one of my arrows I lost three years ago after I killed a doe.

Yeah, I just couldn't shoot it. It had bedded down 35 yards away and I couldn't bring myself to shoot the little girl. I must be getting soft in my old age.
Muzzleloader. The shot was about 75 yards. I posted that I was taking it out this weekend. Kentucky has a 2 day muzzleloader season this weekend. This evening will be the last sit with it.
Yup I remember you saying that now. Just from the map image you posted, I thought the woods was a decent size. Was thinking to my self no way it's that small with the amount of deer your see. Great shot! Looks like she was dead on her feet with the way she cough up her lungs. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Thanks. Yeah, that was the exit wound. The shot was about perfect. Yep, that is the "T" woods. As I've said before, it used to have another small section at the top left that made it look like a T. It's a tiny patch of woods but it has a pond it in so deer come from all around, and there are A LOT of deer all around. On another note, I found a really fresh scrape while I was looking. As far as I know I didn't bump any deer looking, but I sure stomped it up and left scent everywhere. Not sure how good a spot it'll be for a day or two.
Do you still have that spot were the kid would jump his dirt bike? Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Yeah, it's here on the farm where I'm camped. The T woods is about 4 miles away from here. I thought about going there but the wind has been out of the SW and there is a cluster of chicken houses about 100 yards NE of that spot. If the wind changes I'll go there, but I'm not willing to sit and smell that for hours.
@Holt, this is the farm I’m camped at. The stand on the left is where I hunted and saw does Friday but didn’t shoot. There’s a pond there. The blue stand is then”dirt bike stand”. Those chicken houses are TOUGH when the wind is out of the SW.
