Haha! Yes i donrlt wanna count my chicken yet but i even turned my alarm off. Something my buddy said resonated with me when i was debating coming in here after bumping him or just letting it cool off. He said man he was still with another buck, he didnt wind you, you just soft bumped him. You know where he is RIGHT Now…. Get in there. So i woke up with no alarm at 4am and all i could see in my head was that bucks rack running away from me. Forever hahah. So i hot up and in the shower.
Who knows where he’d be in another week. Alot of changes about to happen. Im not celebrating yet though
I think its possible. Looked about 3 inches below bottom of spine maybe. Factor in the downward angle and id say i know i got the top of offside lung
Way to go. Take your time. Some how keep yourself occupied and quiet. Big bucks arr Tough. Inspect and analyze the arrow in an hour. Good luck.
Your buddy was right. I preach that all the time and have said it on here. If he's there then don't wait and go after him. Most bucks change bedding weekly and even daily. Every thing was in your favor and you just performed the perfect example of a bump and dump. Let's hope that shot was true and you get your hands on that rack! Good luck to you Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Second time i misjudged the yardage my pin was a little high as well as him ducking. Just shot with rangefinder again. 24 yd shot only 15 degree angle though. Im only about 17 ft up
If you were below the spine and he was broadside, you got both lungs Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I would very quietly check the hit sight and the arrow Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I hate to say this but that looks like it could be a brisket or top of the spine hit Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
