Will have better pics tomorrow. They are hanging with the younger one I said I might pass too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Last year I got my confirmation of not getting drawn for the special lake area hunts on the 31st of August, so should be finding out if we got drawn by Wednesday.
How many hunting these properties? That middle one would be my target, unless you find last years. Something seems weird about him though. His left beam looks like if there were to be a G2 it was damaged, almost like a lump there. Hope you can get a few better pics of him, alive or dead via arrow.
Just me hunting it. Bow and gun. Pretty sure it’s the buck I just posted a bit ago (the bigger one). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Almost positive they are the same. Littler 8 in front big 9 behind and the “smaller” one in back. They are running around together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If they aren’t then I have a bigger group running around than I think. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I honestly do not think they are the same, just my opinion. As you said, I think you have plenty of targets, more than you realize. Would be enough for me to hold out until November, find them does mid October and set up in wait.
Honestly, I have not followed this thread like years past. Are thoe two compared pics in order? Meaning the one clear pic was takem after the first?
I don't think they are the same deer. Curvature of the tines, body size, don't see all the junk on the bases, neck shortened up... I hope I am not wrong
A couple years ago I went in a couple miles on a lake then walked about another mile to an area I thought would hold deer and put out a trail cam. End of season I went back in to collect the intel. Get to my cam and there are bear tooth prints and it's turned sideways. Needless to say my pics weren't very good.
Found a new public archery range. 16 targets spread out throughout the woods. Will be great for keep improving my distance estimation. Plus there are some cute deer there that just walk out in front of targets.
