You can adjust the seat as well as the platform on a summit pretty easily if you need to without having to climb down Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I'm up on some state land. Have been on this property only 2 times about 2 years ago. So kind of went in blind. Meet up with 3 other hunters in parking lot. So hopefully someone gets one. It's shooting light, but still dark I'm the woods. Surrounded by crops, over looking a swamp with bedding behind me. Let's go! Good luck all! Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
It was raining with winds much of the night. I hope weather causes the deer to go to bed later than normal. Have a great day. Take your time and settle that pin!
Good luck this morning fellas! I'm too cheap to pay the crazy deer processing fees these days so it's coffee and cutting time!
I'm the same way. Then after 8 hours of cutting and cleaning up, I say to myself " I should have just paid someone!" Haha Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Good luck this morning everyone! I’m up, about ten more minutes til shooting time. Had a good buck walk under me a few minutes ago, hopefully he sticks close for a little longer. I can hear him out on the field edge.
I've been up for a bit, and catching up on this thread, congrats to all the killers! Legal shooting time is about 4 mins from now
Late to the party this AM. Alarm didnt go off. Im in a tree. Not exactly where i wanted to be but should be okay spot other than blowing every deer off the property on my way in . At least they didnt wind me. Who would have thought 12 + deer would be in the stunted brown beans when theres fresh cut corn less than 1/8 mile away.
Feel like I might have missed my mark by 50 yards. I got a thicket behind me and can't see into it 20 yards. Wish I was in there. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Both? Deer here are stupid, which makes me even stupider I guess. Was walking within 10 feet of two different deer amd they just stood and stared at me. White light on on headlamp. 15 feet from an owl in the v of a tree. He's still there about 20yds or so, never knew their eyes reflected light like that. But makes sense with their night vision magnification. Couldn't get where I wanted as it was sink uo to your ankles thick suction flood gunk mudthat smells nasty. Bit of cover scsnt I guess. Glad I didn't wear tennis shoes. Currently sitting 2 feet off the ground. Every climbable(?) Tree was dead with slipping bark, every live climbable had branches every 5 feet. As it is getting light I'm loving the area, but wish I was another 15 feet up I'm east of the TNN Outdoors area
Very breezy,,cold but not bad. No sooner sat down and I heard foot steps outside the blind. Anything that may have been in that open field would be gone by now. Sitting here hoping to draw in turkey. Need to paint inside of blind black next year. It is white for when it had chickens years ago. My views...corn field is above me. Blinds off the low corner.
Down south and a bit east of where I was hubting. Tried to tuck up to that water but tgat whole are is super soft mud.
