Good shooting tonight Dave, Brett, and KJ.

I'll be up in 6 hours, 5.30. Try to sit down at 630, with light around 730.

Cool weather = more killing tomorrow!!!

Heading out to a new spot I found last weekend scouting… the cell cam has been extremely quiet on the trail I put it on. The wind switched to a south wind and it’s the opening day of in-line season. Hoping the deer push into this crazy thick stuff I’ll be in. Way too much deer sign for me not to give it a try, thinking I may just have the camera set up on the wrong trail and may need to make an adjustment after daylight, time will tell. Good luck out there today!!!

Good luck everyone, I’m heading back out! Same spot as last night, wind shifted to W. I think this place could be a killer am spot, catching em going back to bed.

Good luck AM shift! I was all set to go out this AM, but got up with the dogs 4 or 5 times last night and couldn't pull myself out of bed at 3 when the alarm went off. I'll be heading out for an afternoon/evening hunt.

I'm good brother, thanks! October is kicking my ass as usual in these woods no matter how much I switch it up and try new things.

All set up in the new spot… it’s a freaking hike to get here, I bumped one right at the steepest part of the hike, about 100-150 away from my set up, big lone deer. Tons of sign in here, think I will be seeing some deer today! Saw another headlamp once I got set up, about 200/300 yards away, plenty of space. It’s muzzleloader season here today so hopefully the added pressure has them in this thick stuff I’m in!! Goodluck out there guys!!! I’ve got about 20 minutes till light, probably 30 till I can actually see

No one else here yet again. I'm tired amd sore. That climb yesterday I had to use my upper body more than I had planned. Had the angle way too steep so couldn't find that happy sit and pull distance. Watched a few videos and think it will be better this am, also brought my alpha lights which have a smaller profile.

I was going to park way up the road and hunt the far west end, but don't want to bend the rules when i'm likely knowingly breaking them.

So west wind already here and supposed to stay all day. Going to try to set up at the nose of the water facing west. Somewhere in the blue, I don't know how far that water extends west.

    Not expecting much

Open my passenger door to start getting gear and a critter from yesterday had spun a web overnight. Now I'm going to be feeling spiders crawling on my drives
