Here in Kentucky tomorrow starts a two day muzzleloader season. I brought my TC Encore and I'm on a freezer filling mission so tomorrow morning I'll have it with me instead of my bow.

Stuff's about to die here in Kentucky.

    Congrats,
Friday the 14th was a good day for a few of us.
Edited to add, I really had zero intentions of hunting.
I literally screwed on my broadheads onto my arrows within 10 minute of climbing into a stand.
    Thanks all:cool:

So the plan for tomorrow, potentially, is hunt this area where no one has been this year, legally anyway.

I would park at one of the 2 yellow dots, which are rocked in as bank fishing spots.

It's flood plain, but creek/river should be in its banks.

What do you think about the feature circled in red and arrowed blue? I zoomed in both ways. Anyone think that is a daily crossing point for deer that may bed in there? I don't understand how to read that.

I also included a zoomed out one to show what is to the north acroas the road and a bit south and west. I could see them wanting to go west, south or east. But not sure they would swim as a daily travel i don't know if it is a super narrow point or what. Just seems odd.

    Thoughts?

Also will be an overnight WNW wind switching to west. Winds hold pretty steady when they blow true, not a lot of swirling.

I think I'm a dumbass lol, nevermind about the feature. Can see from the sattelit the creek is still wide there.

This is her exit wound. Due to the extreme angle, I caught her guts on the right side entry but the sever 2.0 busted up and sliced open another spot on the right rib cage and exited out by this left leg. She was bleeding all over the place. I won’t make a shot like that again as it’s too risky.

2/3 with these heads so far! With the two deer not going more than 40-50 yards.

Im definitely more consistent with my shots, but low light the peep makes it tougher. My rt eye was doing real well a few weeks ago, but today it was crap. I drew on that doe when she was broadside at 15 but was having trouble gathering light in my rt eye, even 1 hr before sundown. Ughh....I just waited until the site picture improved then shot.

The best thing kinda about tonight was FaceTimeing my little boy at home. He’s two now. But when I put on the camo to leave the house he told me “deer?” Idk how he associated camo with deer, but he did. He proceeded to get his little cork gun and was shooting my deer on the wall. I think he’s hooked and don’t even know it yet.

Maybe I’m doing something right at least!
