    If I was gonna shoot a doe here was a 10 yard chance. She’s a big girl. She’s still there too.

    Edited. I posted a pic of the spike instead of the doe.

    She was with two fawns and a spike. They’re in the corn field now.

    Can’t believe I didn’t get busted. She sure looked me over good.

    Wind is freaking screaming right now, was layed down for the longest. Not sure if these showers movung in are mixing the winds aloft or what. Holy crap, top of the tree clanging with another

    Shot fired tonight. Hoping a doe is down boys! Was a hard quarter shot, but I did see the hind legs kick after the shot. We will see!

    First hunt of the year lasted about 4 minutes.
    Climbed in a ladder stand about 60 yards below my cabin.
    I lit a smoke and felt something hit my boot?
    Looked down and my camp cat followed me, and climbed the tree.
    He got a 12 foot toss. Was on the ground circling the tree meowing like crazy. I though, well this sucks!
    Turned my head and here come a lone doe from the river.
    Snuffed my cig, grabbed my bow and it was over.
    Called a buddy and he came quick.
    Was able to get my 4wheeler fairly close..
    She's hanging in my "deer tree" now skinned and cooling.
