Good luck Clint. Meanwhile, I am stuck at work....missed 4.5 days in the last three weeks staying home with sick kids...still thinking that I have almost 300 hours of sick leave... a mental health day may be necessary soon.

I'm down and starting the track.

    Is this a walnut?

Arrow does not look good. One piece of brown hair, no blood and can feel fat but not see it. Not finding any blood at all. Cam only go the direction it went and look. Not looking good though

    Things I learned this a.m.
With a great wind they don't catch my scent even down wind unless it gusts . Mom's are dropping fawns off in the morning to green brier "nursery ". I built that years ago. Fawn bed in it.
Mostly coming in out of mouth of gully directly behind me. Coming out if sanctuary to my right. Should mostly be standing on wet days .that doe snuck in on me. They will look up but don't seem to see me. Oh and I can get here way later.
    Good luck on recovery

Kind of figured it would, especially in the dark. Gonna take a bit of time to get into a rhythm and get a routine set. Right now it probably seems like so many moving pieces....not to mention getting it it once it is set at the bottom of the tree.

Probably my imagination. Seeing what I wanted to see thing. I walked evry trail in the direction it went and enough high leafy greens that it should have at least brushed something. I cannot find a drop of blood. Went back to POI and found this. Currently on hands and knees looking for just one drop of blood but can't find one.

Can find miniscule clumps of hair, but not blood. Even a hair onknow my eyes aren't failing me.
