Up and out of the shower. Going to make a cup of coffee, toss together a couple sandwiches and will be headed out. Same plan as last night at the moment.

2 hours before legal light at 6:38am.

Now that I think about it, the yellow line fir the deer to my aouth last Friday, they may have come from the west as well like the other doe. I'm kinda assuming they came from that way as that's the way the ran off, running back to where they came frome assumption. Either way I should be good if I can set up on that southeast corner.

First time leaving for a morning hunt I don't have an hour drive. Going to be nice.

Maybe I can have a new lucky travel mug after today. I'll shoot 3 if given the time/chance.

All set up, not extremely confident in this set up but I only have an hour or so to hunt this morning. Pulled in and the cornfield was cut, 8 does out in it and they worked off into the woods(where I’m set up) when they got lit up with my headlights…. Oh well better than not being out at all! Goodluck guys

Looks like I'm the only one hunting, for now anyway. Have a feeling the one that shot the doe last night is waiting until after light to get here. Things that go bump in the night and all.

I'm absolutely convinced of it now.

Been set up for half hour. Have to be on high alert I can't hear anything except water dripping off the leaves everything is soaked. I made a new seat at work the other night since the squirrel chewed up the other one. Hope the smell of fresh leather don't spook the deer

I'm up and ready 22 minutes before legal light. Not exactly graceful, but quiet at least.

Started writing this and had to stop. Felt platform was still too steep so started moving tree tether and my strapped hooks up. Started making my way up nd heard a loud crack. Freaked me out and then I realized my quiver was still on a hook. DOH! Already had one knocked in the bow holder so I'm good for one shot. Have to climb down and put broadheads on the spare arrows in my case and get back up if I take a shot.
