I think youre right - i have pics from two different properties of bucks tickling tines (get your head outta the gutter LOL) which was a big reason why i bought the decoy.

Used it tonight and i think it made a little button buck nervous - he just kind of stood there and walked the other direction. Saw one other deer but not sure what it was - it could have been the same button buck. 50 min later i get a pic of the wide 8 that has been on cam for months only about 5 yards from where the deke stood tonight.

As of now, bucks know where the girls hang out.
Older bucks know it ain't time.
Younger bucks are (will start) running hard. They don't know any better.

Well the wife has to drive to Philly for work this morning and had to get up at 3:45 so I’m up a lot earlier than normal for a hunt… having some coffee and watching the newest THP before I shower and head out for my micro sit

All set up in the same tree I was in Friday, bumped one right when I got to the tree, she went off blowing for awhile but calmed down, sounds like I may have something behind me now, I can hear acorns raining down, there were caps everywhere on my 10yard walk into the woods off the corn field… doe went back into the swamp blowing which is where I had the fawn come from last time… got about 20 minutes till shooting light! Goodluck out there guys!!!

Fedex effing things up, shows my stand sitting in Indianapolis. Hoping it just didn't get a departure scan, still has delivery date for today.

Rain has arrived, have everything in the truck ready for an after work sit if the rain cooperates.

Weather long term has not been remotely correct. Rain that never came, winds that were completely backwards and oh geez let's talk temps. One day of 70 then mid 60's to 50's, turned to low 70's today tomorrow and high 60's the next day with snow rain A few days a later. Wait, I haven't blinked yet..hhhhmmmm.
I'm not mucking up t h e woods and just staying home to button up for winter. Tractor scrub and garlic patch prep today. Maybe out side windows washed.

Interesting! I'll check these out as well.

I hope the second video isn't just focused on farmland deer. Public land big woods deer and public Ag/farmland deer are two totally different animals.

Now it's in Missouri. So from MN to IN to MO to get to IL. Glad I'm not sitting at home waiting on it, I'd be losing my chit
