bought a buck decoy that was on sale at Fleet Farm yesterday...gonna go pick that up this afternoon and was maybe thinking about sitting the blind. Think its too early for a buck deke?

Nothing seen last night I'm up and it's cold with zero wind, woods are quiet except for a coon complaining about something @cls74 this is a ladder with one of those stupid gun rests but it works good for laying my bow across Good luck AM crew.
I hear a doe blowing very far in the distance. It's pretty quiet here. I'm about 2 miles deep. Sent from my SM-G990U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Doe, spike and just had a 2-1/2 year old 10 come in. I need to see your daddy. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Great to see you brother!!! Good luck AM shift! I'll be heading out for a early afternoon-evening hunt!
Just had what I'm guessing was a doe blowing and then took off. Never saw her she was sort down/ but mostly cross wind (thermals) so unless it swirled by her not sure what could have made her spook. Driving around last night appx 930-10pm, full moon- saw appx 250 deer total, almost all does/fawns, out grazing/laying down in what I'm guessing are green winter wheat fields. Saw one group of bachelors with a nice shooter 8 and another nice 8 with an entire field full of does to himself. Except in winter, I've never seen anything like it- all those deer grouped together. Of course none of those fields were next to public land woods...
3 doe came in from the direction of the deer blowing off in the distance. They came in on high alert to 30 yards. No shot. Sent from my SM-G990U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Sounds like a lot of does need to die. That ratio is way out of line. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I think the does want nothing to do with the bucks right now, but you're not wrong. This area has a culture against shooting does. Most hunters here would shoot a spike without hesitating but rather eat tag soup than shoot a doe.
Almost forgot what today was, and that I have a meme for it! EDIT: I removed the meme because we are grown adults with sensitive ears...........
