Hopefully you can keep the gout away. I've never had it but if it feels like this stone did over night, well then i wouldnt want anyone to go through that.
From everything you described it sounds like a liver hit or guts. The way she was acting after the shot is what makes me think that. Find your arrow and make a decision on what was hit. Then wait the appropriate time from there. I'm leaning towards liver hit from the pop sound. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Geez messed up story. I need to go shoot bow. I think my sight is loose. Confirmed flesh wound on first doe. Notice i said “first”. . Ran into her milling around in a back field. Flap of skin hanging down. Meat and hair on arrow. Pretty sure She will be ok. She looked that way giving me the big white tail finger anyway. So on my way back to my stand i see a yearling feeding in some oaks. Belly crawled to within 30 yds and boom. Lost my phone while belly crawling and wanting to get her taken care of. Sorry for leaving you guys hanging.
Its hard to believe from the sound that it wasnt a cavity hit but maybe hitting the sternum hard enough would do that. Ill post arrow pic in a min. White thick hair and meat. Classic brisket hit
My deep thoughts, typed out........(Instead of writing my paper that is due tonight at 11:59pm) As I posted on Friday, my E-bike is useless on the steep washed out sections of the cart roads. I fell at least 3 times trying to pedal up them with pedal assist. Pretty dangerous even though I wear a helmet. Last thing I need is a broken arm or wrist. It did work great in the other spots though..... Adapt and overcome? I think pushing it up the hill would be better and still quicker than walking in. I also think I'll have to wear shorts and a t-shirt for the ride in, so pushing it up the hills won't be brutal for my fat ass. I need to rework the rack I built for the back so I can attach bungees in the same spot every time. I also need to make a front rack so I can distribute the weight evenly. the 20-30 pounds of gear on the back make walking/pushing the bike up a hill awkward and a balancing act.
YUP!!! I think in doing so, we can no longer question why a battered spouse keeps going back to their partner....LOL
That arrow usually tells the story. Glad you were able to see her and get closure. Oh and congrats on the second one! Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Lol...I almost hesitate relaying this on here. Hubby got really bad gout..meds. did not work, he got all kinds of tests and changed diet over 3yrs...The man could not walk with out a cane. He completely stopped drinking beer. 2 weeks later...no gout and he still will not drink other than one orange juice glass(small) of red wine once a week years later..
