I only have my one release still. I will check with my friends to see if they have a back tension I could try.
Another regular on the farm. He hung around last year and my buddy and his son passed him cause he was busted up. I Think hes 4 this year and im thinking about passing him if i see him. Not sure if i can get everyone on board though. Would Love to see what he could be at 5 or 6 since he seems to be a home body.
My suggestion is change up your target. Maybe get a bigger one or build a back stop. Think alot of this stems from a fear in our minds of missing the target. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
So I’m torn…I got a buck pretty well patterned BUT he’s not much different than my buck last year… What say you guys? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If you aren’t excited about it i would focus on something else. If he happens to come along and it feels right and gets your heart pumping then let one fly. I guess im saying i wouldnt focus all my energy on him IF you only get one buck. If your plans are to kill more than one buck and he is an easy patternable target then maybe he might be fun to try to kill early on.
One buck state. I havnt seen him in person yet, but I shot a nice 8 last year and I feel like I’m looking for something “different”. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have this deer showing up at a new farm I’ve never hunted and I think I’d rather put my eggs in this basket as opposed to that 8, he would make a great buck for one of my brothers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I’m a sucker for the freak bucks….and women. Can’t go wrong with either. I’d be plenty happy to shoot that 8, but I’d be after that character buck.
He does look 3-4 possibly, but like I said new farm so no history and I don’t know what the neighbors are like. Learning as I go with this one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is one from last year, I have no idea how old he is. This would have been taken about 10 yards from my stand.
Thermacell always worked for me even in the thickest of em, so if that ain't workin for ya, I got nothin. Contact MO ag extension and tell em they have a new variant, the Bear Mosquito. lol
I shot a bit today. Pretty dead on, but a bit of pin drift and really had to focus. Need more reps to rebuild those stabilizers I guess.
