So far all I’ve seen one owl, one hawk, two raccoons, two otters and a lot of squirrels.

Haven’t seen any deer yet though. I expected better.

The best time today here is from 11:10 to 1:10, but I can’t sit that long since I have that doe hanging. Gotta get her cut up and on ice before the temps rise.

Gonna sit till 10. I have to convert the Jeep over to concert mode again for the last one of the season tonight, Alice In Chains, Breaking Benjamin and bush. 10:30-1:15 is prime movement for here today but I gotta do what I gotta do.

I'm down and back in the house. Only saw those 2 bucks this morning. I'll be back out around 4-5.

I hunted so many years beginning in October in Virginia, that now that Ive been hunting since mid Sept, my brain believes it is late October. This morning it was telling me, its cold, get up you lazy bum. Then I realized it was just Oct 8th and went back to bed. hahaha

I made it to 9, until ma nature said "excuse me mam but we have a morning routine!"
Went to grab card on way out but batteries were dead and card was empty. I walked through the plot and a bunch of fresh. Scat in it,still wet. So the snap this morning may have spooked things. If they turned and went down lane way I wouldn't have heard them. Had they gone through the woods they would of made a racket.
Have to get some batteries and set cam up again.
First day winds were actually correct.
No pics my phone won't hold a charge longer than 2 hrs now so I had it off most of the time.

I’m about to pack it up and this will be my last sit for this trip. I didn’t see a deer but I’m not disappointed. Actually I’m almost relieved.

If I didn’t have a doe to get cut up I’d sure be here from 10:00 to 2:00. I’d bet money they’ll be moving then.

    Good luck folks.

Had no service hunting this morning. Got in an hour before light. Got settled and didn't see anything. Still had fun. Love being out hunting. 20221008_060557.jpeg 20221008_060553.jpeg 20221008_083037.jpeg
